I just wanted to share how God revealed Himself to my two sons, my husband, and myself on this past Sunday night, May 19. Our family had gone to church early for a Sunday School meeting. I had told my boys that they could take some books and a little toy to play with, since the meeting would last a while. Why should I feel discouraged?

Gotta do some praisin! Been praying for strength and understanding on how to "beat" a struggle in my life. Yesterday morning I read a verse that I'd never noticed before that spoke RIGHT at me... and brought me freedom. God DOES speak to us personally through His word! I also had the priveledge of listening to three wonderful ladies share about struggles... beyond what I can fathom and how the Lord showed His goodness, love, grace, and care for details time and time again. How do we know Him? By reading the Bible. Because it is the Word of God.
This website is not for us to be… or to assume the word of God. Knowing God requires seeking Him through His word. Is has already been established and is complete.
Jesus said… the work is to believe. To act on what He says. To read with prayer. To read while bringing your life into obedience to what you are reading.
As people created by God, we cannot expect more of God until we are striving to live our lives as He has already shown us… and we cannot do that without going into His word. DAILY – and DOING something about it. That is why we must go back to our foundation – to God – through His word - and on our knees – and Know what we know, then live what we know, and share what we know. Do NOT share more than you know. This site is exclusively for a back to the basics study and acknowledgement of our Great God.
Then our part… our responsibility… and our privilege is to share what we know and to thank Him for it.
