Are you ready to go again? I hope that you are having a wonderful day so far. I hope and pray that you're moving forward everyday and following your Savior!

Today we're going to head back into Matthew 16:13-20. Will you take a moment to read it through again?

We're evaluating this week. It's so good to stop and focus on just what the information we have gleaned really means to us, isn't it. Yesterday we asked ourselves the same question that Jesus asked the disciples. “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” We discussed the idea that society as w hole has really lost sight of who God really is. I know that I still don't fully understand, but what I do know is so incredible and I'm desperate to learn how to align my life to the truth that I know so that I can see more! I'm so glad that we're in this together!

So. Here's my question today.

Do our lives reflect and act according to what we know about God, or according to what others know about God?

And let's dig a little bit deeper.

Do our lives reflect and act according to what we know about God, or according to what other... Christians.... know about God?

Ouch.

I have to admit that many times even standing in church I am more aware of the threat of disapproval of man, than the joy of praising and glorifying the Lord as He leads me to. There are times that I am careful in conversation to “tiptoe” because I am fearful of the reaction of the person I am speaking to.

Should [what other people don't know about Jesus] spur to react by shying away, or by sharing?

Are you living based on what you know? Or on what others know? Or on what others... don't... know?

Evaluate. Then move forward at least one step today. Let's be resolved. Let's be people of action. Let's find practical ways to live what we know.

For Discussion: I know there is a God. And so... ______________________________________”

And/or “I know that God is _________________, and so ________________________________”

And let's praise the Lord! We CAN know what we don't! We CAN move forward with full confidence! We CAN see more of our awesome God! So let's move forward and follow.
