Hi there!

Let's dig right in, shall we? We are people of action... after-all!

Please check out these verses and watch the progression as people observed and learned just who this Jesus really was. Mark 1: 27-28, Mark 2:12, Mark 3:10-12, Mark 4:40-41, John 2:11.

Nobody had all the answers about Jesus. Even those who wanted to know Him the most had to learn slowly. They all had to follow. One step at a time. It wasn't any easier for them than it is for you and me... have you ever stopped to let that sink in?

The 5.2 Project is a way of life defined as: KNOW what you know, LIVE what you know, SHARE what you know.

Simplify, define, and settle on what things you really know. Doesn't it just make sense to base your life on the things that you do know, rather than the things that you don't? Determine therefore that as they are surely truth... they must become more than idle knowledge. We KNOW what we know... and we learn to live it. Make it action. Find a small step. To pretend that you should... could... or would know the entire path is a habit we have, that is also presumptuous, preposterous, and just plain wrong. (Although those ARE impressively large words, are they not?!? :) Then share what you know. That's how your faith becomes sight, often for you, and always for those around you. It holds you.... and others... accountable to what you know. And God is glorified. One step at a time.

Our faith is a progression of action. The steps must be taken first, before you see the next leg of the journey. Period. Here's a hard truth. If you haven't grown in the Lord, if you don't know Him better today than you did a few months ago... then you aren't following as closely as you should. Oh please don't miss out on the journey that He has in store for you!

Please read: John 3:1-12

In this story Jesus has a little chat with a man called Nicodemus. Nicodemus wants to know Jesus more... but Jesus lovingly explains that if he isn't willing to see [what he knows!!] what has already been shown to him, if he isn't willing to know it with living and sharing, why would more continue to be revealed to him? If we aren't living what knowledge we have with our earthly mindset, why would we expect to understand heavenly things?

Are you stepping forward and following Him today?

For Discussion: Let's take a small step together today! That's the beautiful thing about group study! What is one thing that you.. personally... really, really KNOW about God... and how do you work to apply that truth to your life... more than you apply circumstance? Will you share?
