Have you experienced real joy? Do you KNOW the Savior?
I'm amazed, thankful, and so very excited at how personally our faithful conversationalists are working to follow the Lord! I'm THRILLED at the example of people who really want to follow Christ and who are reflections of their Savior! So today, let's remember to rejoice. We serve a faithful and loving God who sees us, who knows us, who loves us, and who has plans for a hope and future beyond our comprehension.
And that goes for each one of us.
Remember? The kingdom of heaven is near. The same Jesus who did this incredible miracle is the same Jesus who has promised to guide your steps throughout the day. Just follow!
The same Jesus who saw Simon fail and make mistakes, yet fixed His gaze on what Simon would BECOME... is the same Jesus who knows our faults and who offers us love and forgiveness much faster than we often give it to ourselves!
So. Rejoice!
Today let's stop and worship the miracle maker! This is so important. [In fact, this is even more important than asking Him to do a miracle.] Learn to acknowledge who He is, and the blessing will be yours all the more! Please read: Psalm 50:23 Will you think on this verse today? Will you write it down and hang it up somewhere in plain sight?!? What a wonderful promise!
Did you remember John 6:13? “… So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten them.”
He not only did a miracle, He not only personally saw each one, cared for individuals, and multiplied a tiny amount of food for thousands of people, but there was also plenty to spare. Have you experienced the reality of this wonderful God? If not... He's still there! Follow Him. Today!
Today let's stop and praise God that He would choose to see us, to lead us, and to even allow us to partake in His glory... that we have access to the miracle maker Himself!
For Discussion:
Today is a day for praising the Lord. What do you know? What will you praise Him for today? We've been working, weeding, and growing. Let's thank Him for what He's done already in order to move forward! You can list as much or as little as you'd like, but please praise the Lord! And then try again today to incorporate what you KNOW about God in your conversation at some point throughout the day. He's so much more than worthy of our praise... and there's oh so much more of this wonderful Savior of ours yet to be seen! PRAISE THE LORD!
