First, I want to thank all of you for you amazing, loving support over the last few days! I am truly blessed with some of the best friends one could ever ask for. I have received hundreds of emails, calls, messages and wall posts on Facebook. Reading them all brought tears to my eyes, and helped me through some of the toughest days of my life. The Lord heard your prayers and gave me incredible strength I never though I could have had. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

For an update! I was actually released from the hospital last night. The doctor decided that after monitoring my heart for over 24 hours, there was nothing wrong with my heart and that what I most needed was rest, which is very hard to come by in a hospital! The "diagnosis" is that the virus I have (H1N1 or whatever it may be) affected my body is such a way that I became extremely dehydrated and my kidneys began to shut down which caused my heart to release higher levels of Troponin, which is usually an indication of a heart attack. While the doctor believes this was caused by my kidneys, I still need to have a stress test and some other tests in a few weeks to absolutely rule out any heart problems. In the mean time, I'm strictly forbidden to exercise until those tests are complete. Unfortunately, that means my half marathon is out. I know, I know, there will be others! :) I am still feeling very weak, fatigued, and at times, dizzy. The doctor said this is normal given what my body went through. But I certainly feel 100 times better than I did on Thursday!

Thank you also for praying for safe travels for Cory. He made it in late last night and I have never been so thankful to have him here with me! I am so grateful he was granted permission to come and be with me. As some of you may or may not know, we had another emergency last night. About 2 hours after I was released from the hospital, and about 15 minutes after Cory got off of the plane in L.A., Katelyn accidentally ingested some cow's milk and was rushed to the hospital with yet another anaphylactic reaction. She was actually in the same ER room I was in just the day before! After all the usual treatments, she is doing well! Thank you for those who prayed for her last night in the wee hours of the morning!

We are planning to leave CA tomorrow. We're breaking the trip up into two days since I don't think I'm strong enough yet for a 17 hour drive. So we will hopefully be arriving in WA on Monday! It will be good to be home and hopefully return to a "normal" routine. For those of you in WA, I can't wait to see you! And those of you elsewhere, I'm sending big hugs your way. Thank you again for your friendship and prayers. God is so good to me!

Love to you all,
Rebekah
