The season of Christmas is upon us again!


The lights are twinkling, the music is playing, the houses are decorated, and the cookies are baking! Christmas is such a special time to enjoy family, friends, and time together. But this year I'd like to challenge you to dig a bit deeper into Christmas... through all of the rush and the business, reach and dig until you find the still, peaceful, silent night upon which this holiday first found it's beginning.


What does Christmas mean to you? What does it mean to your children?


Is the story of Christmas, more than a story?


Christmas is a celebration of “God with us.”


It is an incredible opportunity to reflect, remember, and further explore just what that reality means to our lives. I'd like to challenge you to dig just a bit deeper every day this month, even and especially with your children.


As you mark another day on the advent calender, why not take a moment to stop and share one evidence that God is with you? And then discuss how we should then live. Take a moment every day to PRAISE THE LORD for being with us. The more you think on it... the more you'll be reminded that there truly is... no greater gift.


A baby born in a stable.

A King.

A friend.

A sacrificial lamb.

A risen Savior.


God is with us.
